NB Studios is a multimedia art studio based in Tampa, FL. The studio is run by just two people. Josh Dykstra and Kate Carleton. Since 2010 they have published several of their own comic books with their own original characters, and have exhibited at comic, fantasy and sci-fi conventions all across the United States to promote our comics.

Josh has been writing stories ever since he was 8. As a kid, he would write and draw his own original comics and picture books, and would continue to do so into his early twenties, but he always felt his art wasn't good enough to show off to a the public. Luckily his girlfriend, Kate Carleton, was more than willing to illustrate his comic ideas. This was the beginning of NB Studios, or Naughty Bicycle as it was called back then.

Kate has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. Like any kid in the 90s, she fell in love with Nicktoons and Disney movies. Even at an early age she knew she wanted to be an artist. Fast forward 20 years, Kate is going to school fulltime at the University of Tampa, pursuing a degree in Digital Arts with a focus on Animation.

Together, the two have created their own original comics such as Facebeast and Agatha Frisky, with many more projects currently in development. Ella Strange is a new comic series that will be written and illustrated by Josh, and Scary Times At Horror High is a new webcomic that will be written and illustrated by Kate.
